Hi and welcome to Bearfruit! After 15 years working across private, not-for-profit, academic and government roles, I spent two and a half years living in a four-wheel drive and a roof-top-tent travelling Australia and talking to everyone.
During this trip, it became really clear to me that small and medium businesses are the cornerstone of our nation. Each organisation creates a community that supports others through paid employment, providing services and products, sponsorship and more.
But so many of these incredible organisations are struggling with business basics, due to lack of knowledge, time or poor processes. And it’s because of this epiphany that’s when I decided to create Bearfruit and help businesses manage their strategic, people and operational needs.
I’ve helped many businesses and not-for-profits achieve their strategic goals by applying a deep understanding of how the core business operations integrate. But what I take pride in more than solving organisational challenges is empowering a business to do better, and then walking away and seeing them continue to grow.
